Credit Union for Grant Park

Grant Park has always known what it means to be a real community. From the Victorian bungalows lining its tree-canopied streets to the neighbors who show up for Porchfest, the GPNA potluck, or a Sunday afternoon at Zoo Atlanta, this neighborhood runs on connection. BOND Community Federal Credit Union was built the same way.

Since 1972, BOND has been Atlanta's intown neighborhood credit union, founded right here in the communities that big banks refused to serve. When the founders of BOND were denied mortgage loans by banks in the surrounding neighborhoods, they did not accept it. They sold peaches on Atlanta's streets, operated their first office out of a neighbor's kitchen, and built a financial institution that belongs to the people. That is still true today.

Grant Park and its SAND community are part of BOND's field of membership. If you live, work, worship, or volunteer here, you are welcome to join.

Why Grant Park Residents Choose BOND Over Big Banks

The banks that dominate Atlanta were not always interested in communities like Grant Park. When BOND was founded in 1972, it was a direct response to the financial exclusion happening in Atlanta's in-town neighborhoods. The founders were denied mortgage loans. They took matters into their own hands. They built BOND.

Today, that same commitment drives everything BOND does. As a not-for-profit, member-owned cooperative, BOND does not answer to shareholders. Every dollar above operating costs goes back to members. Competitive loan rates. Lower fees. A credit union that exists for you, not for profit.

And because BOND is rooted in Atlanta's intown neighborhoods, the people who serve you understand this community. They know Grant Park. They are not a national call center. They are your neighbors.
