Local, Wherever You Go.

With thousands of shared branches spread across the entire United States, more ATMs in our network than the big banks combined, online banking, and our mobile app (with check deposit), it's easier than ever to bank with smaller credit unions like BOND.

What To Do When You're Traveling

Let us know if you're headed out of town; include destinations & travel dates. If you travel often (say, for business), inform Member Services (866-525-0619) right away. This is for your protection and convenience; it helps us discern whether out-of-the-ordinary charges to your account are suspicious or expected. While you're traveling, you can access your account 24/7 using the services outlined above.

Although our VISA Debit Card will work anywhere VISA is accepted, we highly recommend traveling with a BOND VISA Credit Card instead.
Fraudulent credit card transactions are typically much easier & quicker to resolve, with far less liability put on the consumer, than fraudulent debit card transactions. Unauthorized checking account activity affects the money you actually have; depending on the length of time it takes to report these charges, reimbursement (if applicable) may occur after actual authorized charges have been rejected due to insufficient funds as a result of fraud. VISA Debit Cards also don't offer as high a level of purchase & travel protection as VISA Credit Cards.

This doesn't mean you shouldn't have or use a VISA Debit Card; on the contrary. Use it to pay for everyday purchases, tangible goods, dining, etc. But when making larger purchases, buying online, or - especially - when travelling, try to use your VISA Credit Card instead. Remember: credit card fraud resolution is typically quicker & easier.
